Educational Qualifications:
Subject Matter Specialist (Agronomy) ->
(1) Master’s degree (Post Graduate) in Agronomy from a recognized University.
(2) Desirable - 2-3 years of work experience in Agronomy. Working knowledge of computer. Ph. D in the relevant subject.
Subject Matter Specialist (Animal Science) ->
(1) Master’s degree in Veterinary / Animal Sciences and having BVSc. degree from a recognized University.
(2) 2-3 years of workexperience in Animal Veterinary field. Working knowledge of computer.lll. Ph.D in the relevant subject.
Driver ->
(1) Matriculation passed from recognized Board.
(2) Possession of valid driving license from Govt, authority for light and heavy vehicles.
(3) Pass in practical skill test to be taken by the committee
of the Institute.
(4) 3-4 years of experience in driving in a recognized Institution. Experience in motor mechanical work. Experience in using tractor and Agril. implements.
Skilled Supporting Staff ->
(1) Matriculation passed from recognized Board.
(2) Knowledge of motorcycle driving with valid driving license.
(3) 1 - 2 years of working experience in a recognized Institution offering extension services. Knowledge and practical skills in maintenance of vehicle s and buildings.

(b) For Engineering disciplines - Doctoral degree in relevant Agricultural engineering subject with 6 years experience as Scientist/Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of ₹ 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of ₹ 5400/ ₹ 6000/ ₹ 7000/ ₹ 8000 having made contribution to research / teaching / extension education as evidenced by published work/ innovative and impact. OR
(c) Master's degree in the relevant agricultural engineering subject with 10 years experience as Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in
the pay band-3 of ₹ 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of ₹ 5400/ ₹ 6000/ ₹ 7000/ ₹ 8000 having made contribution to research/ teaching/ extension education as evidenced by published work / innovative and impact.
(d) Desirable - Specialisation in implementing extension education programmes.

(a) Essential - Master's degree in the Agricultural Extension or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.
(b) Desirable - Two Years working experience in KVK.
Scientist - Plant Protection ->
(a) Essential - Master's degree in the Agricultural Entomology/ Plant Pathology or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.
(b) Desirable - Two Years working experience in KVK.
Scientist - Animal Husbandry ->
(a) Essential - Master's degree in the Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.
(b) Desirable - Two Years working experience in KVK.
