Educational Qualification:
(1) Minimum 10th (Matric) with +2 Passed.
(2) Knowledge of Punjabi - The candidates must have passed Punjabi at least up to Matric Standard by last date of receipt of application.
Sports Achievements: The player must have distinction i.e. having secured 1st or 2nd or 3rd position in State or national or Inter National level. Only those players will be taken on year to year contract basis who have achieved sports performance not more than three years prior i.e.18.01.2014 to last date of receipt of applications.
Gradation of Competitions:
Grade A - Olympics/ World Cup/ Common Wealth Games of two or more than two Continents/ Asian Championship.
Grade B - International Tournaments for seniors organized by International Federation of that discipline and where at least 10 countries have participated, other than those mentioned against Grade-A, South Asian Federation Games (SAF Games)/ National Games/Federation Games Championships/ National Championship/ All India inter State Championship.
Grade C - North Zone Championships/ State Championship/ All India inter Stale Electricity Boards Championship.
Application Fee (A Non-refundable): The candidate is required to deposit the Fee plus Bank charges along with challan in any Branch of State Bank of Patiala. The Fee deposit in the bank will close on 25th January 2017.

Selection Process:
(a) At the time of recruitment on Contract Basis all eligible players shall be subject to preliminary physical fitness test and on being found fit will further be put to game trials. Minimum physical fitness requirements are to be worked out by the Selection Committee game wise.
(b) Selection committee reserves its right to cancel the recruitment of any particular game in case of non-availability of sufficient no. of players or otherwise.
